Healthy koi start with great water quality and low stress.  Our koi are tested each year for SVC or spring viremia of carp  and our farms do not buy and sell fish (common in the industry). This allows us to remain free of SVC and KHV. Be sure to ask any potential koi supplier if the have had KHV or SVC. If they have, be very wary and be sure to perform a correct and lengthy quarantine period completely isolated from any other fish.
